Vélez-Málaga's coast ranges from the large, activity-focused beach at Torre del Mar to the fishing-harbour atmosphere of Caleta de Vélez and the slower residential shoreline around Benajarafe. It is one of the eastern coast's strongest areas for space and long promenades.
